School Trems & Schooling Hours

As we follow the British Academic Curriculum, one school year is divided into three terms, commencing in September and ending in July the following year. School closes for the summer holidays in August.
  • Term 1 : September - December
  • Term 2 : January - April
  • Term 3 : May - July

Administration

Applications for admission at all levels are accepted throughout the year. However, the placements of students into their respective classes are subject to the results of a p replacements test.

Transportation

Transport via a private school bus is also available for the Kemaman, Kijal, Kemasik, Kerteh and Paka areas. Please enquire within.

Meal

For the convenience of parents, EIS provides lunch for all children. All meals provided are HALAL

Our Facilities

Our classrooms are fully air-conditioned and the school is equipped with a resource center, a science lab, computer lab, dining hall, playground and a music room.

An Introducing to Ekhlass


Ekhlass International School (E.I.S) was established in 1995 to cater to the academic needs of the increasing numbers of expatriate children in rural Kijal, Terengganu. From a modest school housing less than 10 children in its pioneering days, EIS now has over 100 children of diverse ages and background, with over 22 academic staff.Located within walking distance from the breathtakingly beautiful natural Awana beaches, EIS promises to provide a high international standard of education within Malaysian shores.The school is owned and run by an experienced educator, Puan Fariza binti Dato’ Dr. Hj. Kassim, who has years of experiences as a childhood educator. She was graduated from Science University of Malaysia, in childhood education.
